The Casa Maria Teresa holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of Posadas, which is a typical Spanish town situated in Andalucia between Seville and Cordoba. It stands on the edge of the Sierrezuela which is a large "Parque Natural" protected area.

Within easy motoring distance is the town of Palma del Rio which has many historical buildings and the nearby village of Almodovar del Rio has one of the best preserved castles in Spain and is a noted tourist attraction. Posadas has many small and larger super markets, shops, banks, hospital, private medical centre and public swimming baths.
The town is served by both train and bus services which give access to Cordoba, Seville and the coastal holiday areas.
Bars and restaurants in the town provide a wealth of menus for eating out at very reasonable prices.
